RALLIES

Freshwater Creek Riding Club Rallies are held on the second Sunday of each month.

Each rally consists of three riding sessions, beginning at 10am. We break from 12:30-1:30pm for lunch and return at 1:30pm with the choice of Cross Country training, another flat lesson or sometimes a quiet trail ride through our amazing Cross Country Course.

Each rally, attending members are grouped and placed into a one-hour flat lesson and a one-hour poles/jumping lesson. The afternoon session gives the opportunity (based on needs and interest) to undertake a further flat, showjumping or cross country lesson. The organisation of each rally is made through our Members-only Facebook Page. Leading up to each rally a timetable is released, outlining the groups, instructors and structure of lessons. An example of this is shown below. Prompt response to our Facebook 'Attendance Poll' is vital for the organisation of each rally.

The canteen is run each month by our coordinator and members. Seasonal lunch options include BBQ, soups, salad rolls, slices and soft drinks (each for a small fee). This is a great social time to interact with other members and instructors. We also enjoy a Christmas Lunch at our December Rally!
